GOAL 2.1
Strengthen a culture of interdisciplinary,
collaborative, and student-integrated research
Foster cross-unit and cross-sector research teams to tackle
society’s most urgent policy problems.
OBJECTIVES
2.1.1. Establish interdisciplinary faculty clusters aligned with signature themes
and submit a major interdisciplinary, cross-unit grant proposal annually.
2.1.2. Launch a series of cross-college “Research Incubator” events to facilitate
collaboration and seed project development.
2.1.3. Provide researchers with seamless, comprehensive, and expert pre- and
post-award support across all academic and research units to facilitate
growth in sponsored research activities.
